VENT D’HIVER was founded in Toronto in 2021 by two French musicians.

Rooted in music and street culture, the project approaches clothing as a functional object designed for daily wear across studios, streets, and lived-in spaces made to be worn, used, and revisited over time.

Developed independently, outside traditional fashion calendars, it operates through small, controlled releases, producing pieces on demand or in limited quantities to avoid excess and unsold stock.

The focus is on high-end garments, using heavyweight fabrics and considered construction, while maintaining pricing that remains grounded. Garments are developed with attention to fit, durability, and repeat wear, with recycled or reduced packaging used where applicable.
